Chair 
Kiersten Colovin, VP, Hospice - Interim Healthcare

As Vice President of Hospice, Kiersten Colovin is responsible for overseeing all aspects of hospice and personal care operations serving eight counties in Upstate South Carolina. Collectively, her teams served over 1,700 patients in 2020. Previously, Colovin served as Director, Care Partnerships at the Care Coordination Institute where she facilitated, developed and provided oversight of regional and national client engagements with integrated delivery systems and CINs navigating value-based and population health initiatives. She has also served as Executive Director at Providence Care, a hospice and palliative care company, where she provided oversight for and implementation of an in-home palliative care physician program and hospice services. Additionally, she has served as Hospice Administrator and Regional Financial Manager at Pruitt Health, a southeast regional leader in long-term health care. Her areas of expertise include operational and financial management, post-acute care, population health management, quality improvement, and team development. Colovin holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Presbyterian College, a Master of Education (MEd) in clinical mental health and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Clemson University.

Mary Peck, Area Vice President of Sales - Aveanna

Mary Peck has been in healthcare in the South East for over 20 years and is currently the Area Vice President of Sales for SC. She began her career as a licensed therapist working in an acute care setting, outpatient and home health. She followed by going into pharmaceutical business development for over 10 years returning to the DME/ home health arena with Gentiva/Kindred at Home 10 years ago.  Since, she has been a part of the growth of home health and hospice markets by working with our acute care partners in alternative payment models, to mergers and acquisitions to partnering with our senior living communities to provide the best care for our seniors.  Her clinical and community experience has given her firsthand knowledge of the care continuum our patients experience everyday and their unique needs in each of these settings. She is a past member of the Surfside Rotary, a current member of the Executive Board of Directors for the SC Home Care & Hospice Association and a current member of the Board of Directors of the SC Assisted Living Association.

Chris Lewis, State Director, SC - All Ways Caring Homecare

Chris Lewis is State Director, SC for All Ways Caring Homecare. He is currently responsible for 9 offices in South Carolina serving over 1000 individuals with more than 850 employees. All Ways Caring maintains multiple business lines primarily in the Medicaid, Veterans Administration, Long Term Care, and private pay market segments. All Ways Caring provides personal care, respite, and skilled services. Chris began his career in technology and telecommunications before finding fulfillment in the joy of in-home care within the home care & hospice industry. He has served in multiple roles within hospice ranging from Chaplain to Regional Sales Director. Chris made the move to Homecare in June 2019 and is excited for this stage in his career, as private and government funding sources and insurers continue to realize the cost benefit Homecare offers in mitigating more expensive models of care. Homecare also provides the best solution to allow our aging population to age in place.

Elizabeth Snyder, Executive Director of Home Health, Hospice, Hospital at Home, Monitored Home Care, Home Care Programs - Prisma Health

Since joining Prisma Health in June of 2019, Elizabeth has been the Executive Director of the Home Health, Hospice, Hospital at Home, Monitored Home Care (virtual monitoring/PCP program) and home care-based Palliative Care programs. Over the course of her career, she has managed post-acute service lines in hospital-based and for-profit environments, multi-state territories and multiple services such as infusion pharmacies, clinical respiratory programs and HME, in addition to Home Health, Hospice and Palliative Care programs. She has been a surveyor for CHAP. She serves on the task force charged with developing better transitional care pathways, post-acute value-based care programs and the roadmap for increased adoption of Supportive Care and Hospice across Prisma Health’s footprint. 

Treasurer 
Lynn Roberts, CPA Manager, Finance & Administration Home Care - Roper St. Francis Home Health & Hospice
Ms. Roberts is a graduate of the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Business Administration and is licensed as a CPA in the state of SC.  Ms. Roberts has been with the Roper St Francis organization since 1996 and oversees the financial operation for home health and hospice services.  She is currently serving on the SCHCHA Board of Directors.  She assisted in consolidating the two largest home care agencies in the Charleston area resulting in an annual cost savings of over 1.5 million dollars.  In addition, she has assisted in the development of the hospice program, oversees grant fund administration, cost reporting and all financial and administrative aspects of the home care program.  Some of her professional activities include current member of the NAHC financial manager’s workgroup and member of HFMA. In the past she has also served as membership chair for the Low Country Senior Network and co-chair of the SC Hospital Association Hospital based Home Health Council.  She has also participated on the NAHC HFMA sub-committee for development of the palliative care white paper.  She participates in advocacy and legislative initiatives and encourages all staff levels to contact legislative officials to proactively impact pending changes for the home care community. 
Ellen Bolch, President & CEO - THA Group

Ellen is President and CEO of THA Group, which is a family of in-home health companies – Island Health Care, Island Hospice, Independent Life at Home, Palliation Choices, and RightHealth Solutions®, serving coastal Georgia and South Carolina.  THA Group provides Medicare-certified home health, non-profit hospice care, palliative care, chronic disease management, patient self-management through telehealth, and private home care for aging-in-place. Ellen Bolch is heavily involved in her industry and community, having served on numerous national, regional and local Boards, including the National Association for Home Care and Hospice (NAHC) and as Co-Chair of the National Medicaid Action Council affiliated with NAHC. She served on the Executive Committee for the Forum of State Associations and is also a member the Advisory Board of the Home Care Technology Association of America.  Bolch is the immediate past Chair of the South Carolina Home and Hospice Care Association.  She has spoken to both local and national audiences, and has been published in Caring Magazine, The Remington Report, the Journal of the American Association of Preferred Provider Organizations, the Home Care Journal of Texas and, in The Encyclopedia of Information Science and Technology.

Darby Anderson, Executive Vice President/Chief Development Officer - Addus Home Care Corporation

Mr. Anderson is in his twenty third year developing In-Home Personal Care business for Addus which operates in 24 states, through 157 locations and serves over 39,000 consumers.  Mr. Anderson has thirty years of experience in operations and business development of home care and home health services. Prior to working for Addus, Darby was Director of Marketing for a regional provider of in-home personal care and prior to that was Assistant Administrator for a Chicago based Medicare Certified Home Health Agency.  Mr. Anderson has run operations today in excess of $500M in annual revenue, has led or otherwise been involved in over 35 transactions including two initial public offerings and has been appointed or elected to board and advisory committee positions in multiple states through state administrations or trade associations, including currently serving as Vice Chairman of the Medicaid Partnership for Home Based Care.  

Tim Rogers, President & CEO - SCHCHA

Tim has 30 years of experience working in the home care, home health & hospice industry and/or AHHC of NC. He received his B.A. in Political Science and History from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Prior to home care & hospice, Tim worked for 9 years with the State Employees Association of NC and NC Bankers Association in member relations and as a lobbyist. His home care, home health & hospice experience is extensive, having worked as the first Director of Government Relations and Chief Lobbyist for the Association for Home & Hospice Care of North Carolina, Vice President of Government Relations for Comprehensive Home Health Care and Hospice (now Liberty), Director of Regulatory Affairs and Strategic Planning for Tar Heel Home Health and Hospice of Tar Heel (now Kindred at Home/Gentiva), and finally as President and Chief Executive Officer for the Association for Home & Hospice Care of North Carolina (since 2001).He holds numerous leadership roles and/or sits on numerous boards/commissions: State Health Coordinating Council (Home Health & Hospice Representative - appointed by Governor Roy Cooper); Past Chairman/Exec. Comm. - The Council of State Home Care & Hospice Associations; Member, National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization and NHPCO’s Council of States; Member, NHPCO’s Legislative Affairs Committee; Member-NAHC’s Forum of State Associations (Past Chair) and current Board member; Sole State Association Executive on the NAHC Home Health and Hospice Financial Managers (HHFMA) Workgroup; Governor-Appointed Home Care, Home Health and Hospice Representative South Carolina CON Task Force; South Carolina DSS Advisory Board Member; Past Board Member of NAHC. Tim is also a past Public Member of the North Carolina Board of Pharmacy. Tim is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives.

Melissa Allman, Director of Government Affairs - BAYADA Home Health
Melissa Allman has 21 years of experience working in home health care and government relations. Prior to becoming the Director of Government Affairs, Melissa was the Division Director overseeing all BAYADA’s South Carolina service offices.   Melissa served on the SCHCHA board from 2013-2019 and served as the Chair of Government Affairs from 2017-2019.    Melissa serves as the Chair for the Home Care Association of America – SC Chapter, National Policy and Legislative Committee (HCAOA), and the national Veterans Advisory Council (HCAOA).  Melissa has successfully planned all SC Home Care and Hospice Advocacy Day at the SC State Capitol over the last seven years with the collaboration of both home care associations.  She has executed many home visits over the last several years in her advocacy role and continues to engage and encourages all to join our advocacy efforts.  Melissa supports and advocates for both state and federal issues.  In addition to supporting SC, she also supports FL and leads a private duty nursing coalition in both states.

Ashley Bouknight, Area Manager - All Ways Caring

Ashley Bouknight is the Area Manager, SC for All Ways Caring Homecare. She is currently responsible for 10 offices in South Carolina serving over 800 individuals with more than 550 employees.  Ashley started her career as the SC Association of CPAs legislative assistant and then transitioned into the medical field in 2004.  She worked with Advanced Fertility for 10 years as the sole community educator, which she helped build a thriving practice in West Columbia, SC.  She loves to educate the community, so she joined a hospice company to explore the hospice benefit.  She was with Halcyon Hospice for 3 years before joining the All Ways Caring Homecare Team.  She continues to advocate for the hospice benefit and homecare in the community and is active in Government Affairs initiatives through her company and this association. 

Krisdee Clark, Director of Corporate Affairs - Agapé Care South Carolina

Krisdee Clark brings over 13 years of demonstrated experience working in government relations and health care, is a skilled public speaker, and carries a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification. Before joining Agape Care, Clark served as Senior Provider Relations Lead at Palmetto GBA. While there, Clark designed and developed top-rated national training criteria for home health and hospice providers to ensure Medicare compliance. She served as the conduit between CMS and providers, delivering education for CMS/Palmetto GBA at national conferences, state association meetings and provider workshops.She has earned a Bachelor of Science in sports and entertainment management from the University of South Carolina.

James Dismond, CEO, Hospice Care of the LowCountry
He is passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of those facing challenging circumstances and fostering an environment of empathy and support. As a steadfast advocate for hospice and palliative care, James have worked to raise awareness, forge community partnerships, and advance Hospice Care of the Lowcountry’s mission. His expertise in navigating complex healthcare landscapes and driving organizational growth has resulted in improved services and increased access to vital resources for patients in need.With a decade of dedicated service in the not-for-profit sector, James is an accomplished senior leader with a strong focus on hospice and palliative care. Throughout his career, James has consistently demonstrated a commitment to providing compassionate end-of-life support and enhancing the quality of care for patients and their families.With a deep-rooted commitment to excellence, James enjoys seeking new opportunities for professional development to remain at the forefront of best practices in the world of hospice and palliative care. His love for creating a difference and upholding the highest standards of care fuels his dedication to serving others.

Bryan Edwards, Market Manager - Centerwell Home Health

Bryan Edwards, Market Manager for Centerwell Home Health, has been a leader in the healthcare realm for 13 years specializing in Home Health. He has a diverse background in the industry with experience leading Private Duty, Assisted Living and Home Healthcare Agencies. Whether forging collaborations with healthcare leaders or guiding families through the decision-making process, he brings a nuanced understanding of the value home health services can offer. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from Florida Atlantic University. Bryan is married with 2 children and resides in Charlotte, NC.

Sarah Feldman, PT, DPT, Regional VP of Operations - Enhabit

Sarah Feldman has been in healthcare for over 20 years.  She is currently a Regional Vice President of Operations for Encompass Health. Sarah started her career in research in Boston, MA, studying the effects of preoperative exercise programs on the discharge status for patients undergoing total joint replacement at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.  From there, Sarah spent 10 years in the long term acute care setting, progressing her career from Director of Rehabilitation Services to Area Director of Operations for the RehabCare division of Kindred Healthcare.  She decided to change her career path to focus on the home care setting after moving to Florida.  She quickly found this to be her passion and she has remained in the home care setting for the past 11 years, advancing her career from Area Director to Regional Vice President for 15 locations across Florida, Georgia and South Carolina. 

Mark Fox, MD, FACP, FAAHPM, National Medical Director - Kindred at Home Hospice Division

Dr. Mark Fox is the National Medical Director for Kindred at Home - Hospice and Palliative Care. He previously served as the Hospice Medical Director of McLeod Hospice and Palliative Care in Florence, South Carolina; and Hospice Medical Director of CarePartners Hospice and Palliative Care in Asheville, North Carolina. He is a past board member of the Carolina Center for Hospice and End of Life Care. Dr. Fox currently serves on the Board for South Carolina Homecare and Hospice Association.

Christi Getsinger, Director - AnMed Health

Christi Getsinger has been on staff with AnMed Health Home Health since 2000. She obtained a BSN from Clemson University and a MSN from Walden University. She has served as a staff nurse in the field for 8 years before moving into management positions that lead her to Director of AnMed Health Home Health in 2020. She runs a 45 employee hospital-based home health agency in Anderson, SC with a 1 million dollar turnaround just in 2021. She sits on the Sigma Gamma Mu Board for Clemson University School of Nursing. Christi is the Vice-Chair of the Nursing Diversity Advisory Council for AnMed Health, sits on the Infection Control Committee for AnMed Health, team lead for the Post-Acute Care Team for AnMed Health, and sits on the Safety Advisory Council. Christi is a wealth of knowledge both on the clinical and operational sides of the agency. She would be an asset to the SC Home Care and Hospice Association and would take this Board seat position very seriously and would contribute throughout her term. 

Mike Griffith, RVP of Sales - Homecare Homebase

Mike Griffith has spent 12 years focused on home health and hospice providers and is currently a Regional Vice President of Sales with Homecare Homebase. Mike has worked with many providers in South Carolina as they've looked to leverage technology to provide better care. He is an advocate for home care, always pushing to find ways to improve and learn. Mike is married to his wife Gentry and has two great kids, Liv and Guy.

Richard McMillian, Sr. VP, Sr. Counsel, Legislative and Regulatory Affairs - LHC Group, Inc.

Richard MacMillan joined LHC Group in 2007. He currently serves as Senior Vice President and Senior Counsel, Legislative and Regulatory Affairs. He is admitted to the Louisiana Bar and the Mississippi Bar. Richard is also licensed as a Registered Nurse in Mississippi and Louisiana. Mr. MacMillan received his Juris Doctorate from Louisiana State University, and a B.S. in Nursing degree from the University of Southern Mississippi.  He is a Past-President of the Louisiana Rural Health Association and is a member of the National Rural Health Association. Richard is also and the Louisiana Society of Hospital Attorneys.  In addition, he is a member of the Health Law Sections of the Louisiana State Bar Association and The Mississippi Bar. Mr. MacMillan served as General Counsel to the HomeCare Association of Louisiana from 1994 to 2007, and served as its President from 2016 to 2020. Mr. MacMillan was elected to a two year term on the Board of Directors of the National Association for HomeCare and Hospice in January 2018.  Richard also serves as a member of the Palmetto GBA 16 State Home Health & Hospice Coalition.

Chris Nave, Senior VP of Sales - Medline Industries

Chris Nave is the Senior Vice President of Sales for the Homecare Division at Medline. Chris has been with Medline for 17 years and has spent the last 15 years focused on the home health and hospice markets.  He leads the Homecare sales teams which delivers business solutions and provides medical products to more than 8,500 home health and hospice customers. Chris graduated from Lynchburg University in Lynchburg, Va., with a BS in marketing.

Kim Perry, RN, BSN, CCM, Associate VP of Post Accute Care - McLeod Health
Kim has a total of 24 years in nursing. During her time as a registered nurse, she has worked with a diverse population. Her multi-form background includes case management, hospice, geriatrics, rehab, and med-surg. Much of Kim’s career has been spent in the case management realm; working closely with home health and hospice and knowing the rules that help drive their work. She also has approximately 5 years of experience as a home hospice Registered Nurse which has allowed her to be successful in having those crucial conversations with patients in the hospital regarding palliative care and hospice. She currently serves as the Associate Vice President Post Acute Services for McLeod Health and provides direct oversight for both McLeod Home Health and McLeod Hospice & Palliative Care. As you know, these entities provide much needed home health and hospice coverage to all counties in the Pee Dee Region. To be able to help shape and chart the future of these service lines and knowing that she can have a part in strengthening and protecting it, provides her with much fulfillment.
Tiffany Richter, DO, Medical Director - Roper Hospice & Roper Hospice Cottage

Tiffany Richter DO is a graduate of Nova Southeastern University of Osteopathic Medicine in Florida. She completed a residency in Family Medicine and a fellowship in Palliative Medicine and Hospice at Broward General Medical Center. She is board certified in Family Medicine as well as Palliative Medicine and is also Hospice Medical Director Board Certified.  She is the medical director of Roper St. Francis Healthcare Hospice and Roper Hospice Cottage in Mount Pleasant.

Ashley Watts, AANP Board Cerrtification, FNP-C, Director of Home Care Operations - Elite Home Care, Day Center & Transportation
Ashley Watts is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner with over 14 years of home care experience including as a hospice RN case manager, Nurse Practitioner providing care in the homes and the Landrum Hospice House as well as providing palliative home care with Agape Care Group until landing with Elite Home Care overseeing day to day operations of their 12 locations and approx. 600 staff.  Ashley was recently recognized as a 2024 Women of Influence in Business by GSA Business.  She is passionate about her reach to those unable to care for themselves independently and advocates for seniors and is eager to have more reach with a reputable association like the SCHCHA.

Dorothy Wilson, Quality Director - St. Francis Hospital Home Care/Open Arms Hospice

Dorothy Wilson is a current member of the SCHCHA Board seeking re-election. Previously, she served as a Board member for two consecutive terms. She has been an ongoing member of the Education Committee. Dorothy has volunteered at SCHCHA’s Annual Conventions as well as serving as a presenting panelist. Dorothy is a native-born South Carolinian who began her home care career three decades ago as a staff nurse in rural upstate. Since that time, she has worked in both hospital-based, for profit, and governmental agencies throughout the state. Much of her career has been in the area of home care and hospice quality and compliance. There have been ongoing challenges and successes in our industry throughout the years, but she believes one constant of this industry has been the presence, support and action of the South Carolina Home Care & Hospice Association. She would love to have the opportunity to be a part of this Board as it continues to serve our industry in the state of South Carolina.
