Course Overview
Hospice Nuts & Bolts© is a comprehensive 101/201-level program designed for hospice clinicians and leaders who need a strong, working command of hospice regulatory, eligibility, and documentation requirements. This live-virtual training reinforces core compliance essentials, including the Medicare Hospice Benefit, eligibility and documentation best practices, Conditions of Participation, and interdisciplinary group excellence.
Hospice compliance hinges on details — especially how eligibility is supported, documented, and communicated across the interdisciplinary group. This course focuses on those critical details and how they surface in day-to-day hospice operations, medical record review, and survey oversight.
Delivered live-virtual through expert-led instruction with active, real-time interaction, the course walks participants through the core elements that surveyors, reviewers, and auditors routinely evaluate — and where hospices most often struggle. Participants are encouraged to ask questions throughout, with real-time clarification and discussion led by the instructor.
Hospice Nuts & Bolts© provides a structured, substantive walkthrough of hospice fundamentals with direct operational relevance. This is not a cursory overview or a regulation read-through, but a focused, applied program designed to strengthen eligibility support, documentation consistency, and compliance confidence in hospice practice.
